DPHS Wrestling 2025–26: Welcome Wrestlers!
Welcome to the DP Wrestling family!
Since 1971, we’ve been building champions on and off the mat through hard work, discipline, and teamwork. With 25 league titles, 3 CIF team championships, and countless individual honors, we take pride in our tradition of excellence and the supportive community behind it.
We are home to the Dos Pueblos High School Wrestling Team and The Laboratory Wrestling Club, where youth and high school wrestlers come together to learn, compete, and thrive.

Connect with families and support the team. Your help matters!
To help athletes succeed in all aspects of life, both on and off the mat, by serving as positive role models and committing to excellence in everything we do.
We focus on:
Academics: Academic success is a top priority, and every athlete is expected to maintain good grades.
Character: We cultivate mental toughness, a growth mindset, and strong character. We foster a safe and supportive environment where every wrestler can develop into their true self.
Athletics: We train and develop world-class wrestlers who compete at the highest levels, striving for success at the state level and beyond.
Ultimately, our goal is not only to build champions but also to develop responsible and respectful young adults with strong character who will leave this program as contributing members of our community.
Teamwork and Positivity: We are great partners. We push and support each other so that we succeed as a team. A rising tide raises all boats – we learn, win, and succeed as a team.
Health, Safety, and Well-being: We watch out for each other.
Respect, Dignity, and Sportsmanship: Treat everyone with respect and dignity in all situations. Follow the Platinum Rule: Treat others how they want to be treated.
Integrity and Responsibility: We own our actions, words, and thoughts. We hold ourselves and others to our program’s values. We are responsible for the outcome of our efforts. We do the right thing when no one is looking.
Focus and Proactivity: We sacrifice free time and distractions to advance our goals. We place long-term success above short-term gain. We look for opportunities to move our collective goals forward and help the program.
Fun: We take ourselves seriously, but not too much.
Dos Pueblos Wrestling provides a competitive and supportive environment for high school athletes to develop their skills, build character, and compete at the highest levels. Our program focuses on excellence both on and off the mat, preparing student-athletes for success in school, sport, and life.
The Laboratory Wrestling Club offers both youth and high school programs designed to develop wrestlers of all ages. The club emphasizes fundamental skills, sportsmanship, and a love for the sport, helping build confidence and a strong foundation for future success.
Both programs are proudly supported by our nonprofit booster club, the Dos Pueblos Chargers Wrestling Takedown Association (DPCWTA), dedicated to promoting wrestling excellence and strengthening our community.
Whether you are new or returning, find everything you need to know to be on the team, including forms and essential info.
DP Wrestling is donor-supported, and we rely on the generosity of our community to keep our program strong. Your contributions—whether through funding, equipment, or supplies—directly provide opportunities for our athletes.
In the 2024–25 season, donations funded 469 matches, covering 62% of our high school competition schedule. Community support also makes it possible to provide scholarships for The Laboratory Wrestling Club, helping increase access for youth athletes who want to learn and grow through wrestling.
